DR. CHRIS ALEXANDER
Dr. Alexander has been serving as Senior Pastor since August of 2018. He is a two-time graduate of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary with his Masters of Divinity and his Doctor of Ministry. Chris and his wife, Meredith, were married in November of 2008 and have two children, son Landry and daughter Amelia.

Dan has been with the church for over 30 years. A trained singer and musician who graduated from the University of Georgia, Dan also runs his family’s business, Sosebee Auto Supply, a Lawrenceville institution for over 50 years. Tamara is a married mom of two boys, Tristan (13) and Trace (10), both of whom attended GLG. Tamara started at GLG as a substitute teacher, got hired as an assistant, became a lead teacher, and was promoted to director in 2021. Shannon loves all things children. She has geared her whole life around working with children. She loves the children at Chestnut Grove just as much as she loves her own four children, and almost as much as she loves her granddaughter.

DYLAN YETMAN
Dylan is a student at Georgia Gwinnett and is pursuing a degree in Education so that he can become a high school math teacher. Dylan also loves to share Jesus with students and wants to disciple students to Christ. God called him to Chestnut Grove to lead our LifeHouse Youth Ministry in November 2024.

Beckie serves as the administrative coordinator for the church, as well as the assistant to Pastor Chris. She believes that her God-given role is to assist our pastors and volunteers in creating a seamless organization. Beckie also sees her position as a way of ministering to the women of our church and community. After serving our community so faithfully as a Gwinnett County police officer, upon retiring, Kevin decided to make it his daily routine to keep not only the members of Chestnut Grove safe while they are on campus, but also to make God’s Little Grove, our weekday preschool, the safest preschool there is. Jerry joined Chestnut Grove staff 3 years ago after retiring from Frito Lay and Publix. When not cleaning around the church, he enjoys cutting grass. Jerry has a wife of 48 years, 2 daughters, 2 son in laws and 5 grandsons that get the rest of his time.
